    Investment Criteria

    We look for Minnesota based businesses.

    We seek experienced management teams with a track record of
    building early-stage, growth-oriented businesses. 

    We look for a proprietary product or unique service, which
    can differentiate and defend their business from competing
    technologies within a specific market niche.

    We look for businesses that are focused on a specified need
    which addresses a large and growing market.

    We look to properly capitalize a business with a balance
    between adequate capital to finance a growth strategy and
    minimum dilution to existing shareholders.

    We look for a business plan and marketing strategy that can
    generate significant growth and volume within a five-year
    period.

    We require a reasonable exit strategy for each portfolio
    investment.

    Typical Investment Size

    We typically invest a minimum of $1 million and, over time, up to
    a maximum of $4 million, into any single portfolio business.

    We will also consider smaller investments for seed and start-
    up stage companies with experienced management teams and well-
    developed business plans.
